Excellent support for the free NIST tool, which helps the supply chain..

B.H., Colorado

Good Morning, I am OK with these with a couple of reservations. Using the Acrobat platform if I was adding Nickel to an MDS I was forced to use the JIG B list, even though the application was not an external one it being part of an alloy (alloy 42). Will the brominated flame retardants, bromine & chlorine fall into the same scenario? As our application uses it in some of the epoxy encapsulation for a component and not a PWB laminate. Best Regards

I would suggest reading the JIG document available at http://www.ce.org/PDF/JIG_101_Ed_3_1_final_100913.pdf These describe the specific applications...If you go into the JIG categories in that text, you will see the referenced regulation. If you chase that down, you will get all of the details, conditions and nuances associated. I am just putting in the categories based on that, so that we can have a simple free tool to check declarations. I will post your question in the compiled list of comments, so perhaps someone else can answer you.

Please include Niobium in the Conflict minerals category
