Installation and Use README file for MRPRO(TM) mini for AD (Readme dated November 15 2018) Installation (for updating see at the bottom): Installation is a three simple steps procedure: Looks like you have not selected the xla from the File>Options>Addins>Manage Addins>Go> click mrpro517.xla from c:\mrp51 1. Create c:\mrp51 folder 2. Extract the files to this folder. Register the mrprodongood dll (the correct one). Register the dll (depending on your system)- If you have a 64 bit OS and 32 bit Excel right click on myrekg7.bat and run as administrator OR If you have a 64 bit OS and 64 bit Excel right click on myrekg64.bat and run as administrator OR If you have a 32 bit system right click on myrekg.bat and run as administrator 3. Open Excel, find Excel Options, find the Addins in that (NOT the top Addins menu), click Go on the manage Addins, and click the mrpro517.xla from the window that appears and then close Excel and start again. Basically this is selection of the xla from Excel- File>Options>Addins>Manage Addins>Go> click mrpro517.xla from c:\mrp51 Further help on debugging help for MRPRO(TM) installation is at: https://www.papros.com/FEUCE.htm Also more specific help for AD will be posted in future at: https://www.papros.com/FEUCE_ad.htm Use: Creation of xml from SRT: Also once installed, all you have to do to create an xml is click the SRT, then click create 1754 xml. Importing of XML to SRT: To import from XML, first you have to associate the SRT-as SRT comes from IAEG(R)-you have to bring a blank SRT and associate it once-thats it, then you can import XML to it any number of times. For viewing declaration in browser: Set default browser, preferably to Mozilla, then choose the 1754 xml file when prompted after clicking this feature. For scrubbing versus lists-this uses jquery, so as set your default browser: So you open any spreadsheet, and fill up row after row of substance and CAS number in col C of that sheet, now you can scrub any 1754 decalration versus list of those CAS or EC- this is very useful to know if a declaration contains a specific susbstance. For example, you have a new region and new list of regulatory CAS-then you can just check any 1754 against this list of CAS. You can try it. This is very very useful for new regulations, changing regulatory regimes and so on on and so forth. Updating an existing installation: Exit all instances of Excel. Then download the zip and extract the contents to the c:\mrp51 folder overwriting all old files, except mrposgkp.xls (this is the license file where you information is entered-overwriting this means you have to re-enter those fields, thats all). Then you can launch Excel.
